Philanthropic Advising

We'll help you achieve your philanthropic vision through strategy, design and execution. We can also provide technical expertise and lend our issue area expertise. 

• Advise foundations/families/individual on how to maximize impact and invest philanthropic dollars efficiently and effectively
• Advise on giving structure (e.g. projects/program, special events, partnership/collaboration with existing entities, donor advised fund, etc.)
• Identify root causes of issues to ensure that target issues are connected to overall need

• Provide research and industry knowledge to enable clients to position themselves and find their niche within or in collaboration with existing efforts
• Develop success measures to determine and track effectiveness of projects and initiatives
• Prioritize across programs and causes, taking into consideration and advising on common implementation challenges
• Execute philanthropic strategy

Corporate Social Responsibility 

When it comes to corporate social responsibility (CSR), we help businesses, individuals and families establish priorities, develop infrastructures and strengthen their giving practices. 

• Partner with corporations to provide advisement on prospective corporate sponsorship opportunities
• Oversee company/organization’s philanthropic activities
• Manage corporate contributions and reporting
• Identify high impact opportunities to engage and manage company employees in volunteer activities that increases employee engagement, strengthens internal relationships, and improves brand’s connection to the community
• Identify opportunities to expand community presence, including existing programs and events that need sponsorship or partnership
• Recommend program developments, improvements, and expansions based on CSR vision
• Develop plan for implementation and evaluate outcomes
• Training for staff

For clients who do not have a CSR strategy, we provide these additional services:

• Assess client’s priorities to provide clear options on the various opportunities and approaches to addressing their chosen causes
• Identify strategic partners who can support client’s efforts
• Create relationship management strategies between clients and their partners to establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships
• Develop strategy for and create socially responsible philanthropic campaigns/initiatives/projects/programs

Fundraising

We design strategies to secure funding and establish strategic partnerships, including in-kind sponsorships.

• Act as liaison between donor and recipient
• Manage grantee-funder relationships and reporting compliance
• Develop and document best practices on fundraising approach and implementation
• Advising leadership on fundraising strategy and implementation of initiatives

Convening

We offer meeting design, facilitation and logistics coordination (for both internal teams and with external partners) that focuses on moving toward action.

• Develop a results-based design and agenda for meetings, conferences and special events
• Coordinate logistics and registration for convenings
• Facilitate and document event

Training

We help provide trainings to individuals and organizations to build knowledge and skills for maximum impact in the community.

Most trainings are continuing education unit (CEU) certified.
